“จงขอบพระคุณในทุกกรณี เพราะนี่แหละเป็นน้ำพระทัยของพระเจ้า ในพระเยซูคริสต์เพื่อท่านทั้งหลาย” (1เธสะโลนิกา 5:18)

        ให้เราขอบคุณพระเจ้าในทุกกรณี คือทุกสถานการณ์ ไม่ว่าจะสุขหรือทุกข์ก็ตาม แม้ปีที่ผ่านมา ได้เกิดมหาอุทกภัยอย่างรุนแรง แต่อีกด้านหนึ่ง เราได้เห็นความช่วยเหลือและความเป็นน้ำหนึ่งใจเดียวกันของคนในประเทศจนก้าวผ่านวิกฤติไปได้

    มูลนิธิเพื่อพัฒนาชีวิต ได้มีโอกาสรับใช้สังคมในโครงการต่าง ๆ เพื่อส่งเสริมความเข้มแข็งของเยาวชนและครอบครัว เช่น โครงการ “ฉลาดให้ ฉลาดออม ฉลาดใช้” ที่ได้รับความร่วมมือจากผู้มีภาระใจออกแบบกระปุกออมสินพิเศษ นอกจากนั้น ยังได้ระดมสรรพกำลังที่มีอยู่ร่วมกับสมาชิก GB&YMB ช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยระหว่างน้ำท่วมและการฟื้นฟูหลังน้ำลดในหลายจังหวัดด้วยกัน ภายหลังน้ำท่วมใหญ่ ก็ตามมาด้วยภัยหนาว โครงการ “ห่มรักต้านภัยหนาว” จึงเป็นอีกโครงการหนึ่งที่ได้มอบทั้งผ้าห่ม เครื่องกันหนาวแก่ครอบครัวชนบททั้งพื้นราบและในพื้นที่สูงอีกด้วย
      กิจการงานที่ผ่านมา สำเร็จลุล่วงไปได้โดยพระกรุณาคุณของพระเจ้า และการสนับสนุนจากภาครัฐ, เอกชน, คริสตจักร, สถาบัน, คณะกรรมการและสมาชิกอาสาสมัคร ขอพระเจ้าทรงอำนวยพระพรมาเหนือ ทุกท่าน

      Let us give thanks to God in every circumstance, no matter in joy or in sorrow. Although we have gone through the worst flood of the nation last year, yet on the other hand we have seen the best emerge out of the Thais in help and in unity.
      The Foundation for Life has had the opportunity to serve society via various projects. In strengthening the young and the families, the S.M.A.R.T. Project (which teaches on smart giving, smart saving and smart using of one’s finances) was so well received that a keen contributor designed a unique savings box for the project. On top of that, the Foundation drew on whatever resources that were available, and together with the members of the GB and YMB, reached out to flood victims in a number of provinces, during and after the flood. The Cold Front came after the floods, so the Foundation followed up with the “Blanket Them with Love” Project, which benefitted those in the lowlands as well as the highlands.
      The efforts were accomplished successfully due to God’s mercy and the cooperation between the Government, Private Institutions, Church, Executive Committee, Members and Volunteers. May God’s favour be upon all!
